trend & true tuesday: berets and baseball caps

Trend: Berets

My habit for purging my closet generally prevents this, but every once in a while I’ll hold on to something that’s out of fashion long enough for it to come back around. Enter the beret. I have always loved the look of a beret but its really having a moment right now (especially with seemingly everyone and their mother taking trips to Paris.) I have one in camel, but I love this red one and this one with a pom. If you’re looking for some embellishment, this pearl one is so fun and feminine and of course, there’s always leopard.

True: Baseball Caps.

Don’t know what I’d do without ’em. Dress them up, dress them down, use them to hide the fact that you have’t washed your hair in four days, show your team pride…so versatile. I have worn this one so much it’s threadbare (you can get it with any team), I love this Carhartt one for outdoor activities and this Adidas one for a sportier look, and I’ve been coveting this airport code one.
