my must-have item for fall (or any other season)

I have been lusting after these Sam Edelman cap toe slingbacks for weeks, but unfortunately they just weren’t in the budget, so I was thrilled when I found a similar pair from ASOS for less than half the price. I actually like that these better since they don’t have the double strap (which I think is a tad distracting) and up close they’re a pretty woven fabric rather than just leather. It’s been a while since I bought something that I truly can’t get enough of, and it was love at first sight with these. I don’t normally dedicate an entire post to one item, but these are just that good: they’re somehow classic and trendy at the same time, they are SO versatile, and I want to wear them with ev-er-y-thing. Here are just a few of the ways you can style these bad boys:

I work harder when I like my outfit, and pairing these with a simple all-black ensemble definitely has me ready to conquer my to-do list.

This velvet mini skirt was the first thing that popped into my mind when I ordered these. Add a pop of color, and this look can be worn to work with a blazer and transitioned right into to happy hour.

I love an unexpected pairing, so I was so excited to try these with jeans and I was not disappointed. Throw on a basic top and add a blazer or leather jacket and you’re ready for date night.

Someone please take me to Paris. Or to a museum. Or a fancy lunch. Or coffee. Or anywhere else I get to wear this.

They run true to size, and you can find them here. Go to shop my insta to shop the rest of my looks.
