TREND: Skinny Cat Eye Sunglasses.

I have a habit of seeing something on someone else and the visualizing myself LMBL while wearing that thing and impulse buying it to try and make those dreams come true. I did this with several of Paige DeSorbo’s looks this summer on Summer House (side note she has incredible style and if you’re not following her you should), and I ended up coming to my senses and realizing that whatever it was either wasn’t worth what I paid or I couldn’t pull it off. But the skinny cat eye sunglasses that I got in three colors fell into neither of those categories. These make any outfit immediately more glamorous, and you can get them for less than $10 on Amazon, which is great because I don’t see this trend lasting more than another season or so. You can find them in several different colors here.

TRUE: Motorcycle Jackets.

I’m not ashamed to say that I have several friends that are WAY cooler than me, and anytime I need to try blend in with the cool kids I pull out my motorcycle jacket (granted it’s from American Eagle but they don’t need to know that.) Whether it’s leather or suede, a good moto jacket adds a classic edge to your look. I love the gold details on this one, and I have this one in two colors already but this blue is calling my name. If you’re looking for the real deal this one is a great value for the price.
